Leah Tomlin
Executive Leadership Coach & Mentor

I understand the challenges of balancing busy family and work lives. I have 3 young children, am a proud single mum, a school governor, and I run my own business. I love helping other women to aim high, balance life and work, and reach their full potential within their leadership roles.
I have been privileged to have travelled an interesting career path, that has kept me challenged and captivated, and ensured I’ve had plenty of experience stepping out of my comfort zone. I studied for a degree in Physiology before embarking on a career as a Neuroscientist. During this time, I published papers and disseminated my research at conferences nationally and internationally. I left science with a clearer understanding of the brain and learning. This was invaluable in my decision to become a Primary School Teacher in London, then in Bristol, England.
I spent 9 successful years in school senior leadership and gained my Head Teacher qualifications. My leadership roles and responsibilities were wide and varied, including: vision creation, strategic management of change, restructuring staff and teams, recruitment, staff training, performance management, coaching and mentoring.
With three young children, I spent a couple of years immersed in motherhood before following my passion as a Leadership Coach. Seeing my own lifelong learning as pivotal, I completed the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM7) Executive Coaching and Mentoring course at the University of West of England. I now run my own coaching business, coaching other successful women to excel in life and leadership.
When I’m not working, or being mum, I follow many passions in life: Listening to an eclectic range of music (live gigs and at home), reading fiction and non-fiction, walking in nature, yoga, art, following Tottenham Hotspur football team, watching independent cinema and enjoying great food and fine wines.
